In accordance with the provision issued on June 10, 2021, by the Guarantor for the Protection of Personal Data, setting forth the guidelines on cookies and other tracing tools /hereafter, the “Cookie Provision”, the Controller of Personal Data Processing is DWS Grundbesitz GmbH (hereafter also simply DWS), with registered office in Frankfurt am Main, Mainzer LandstraBe 11,17 (Germany) acting through its secondary headquarters, with registered office in Milan at via Filippo Turati no. 25/27, tax code and VAT no. 12650270155, acting on behalf of the German property investment company “grundbesitz Europa”, in the person of its legal representative p.t., e-mail: email@example.com, as Controller of the Processing of Personal Data collected on its website, informs the users as follows.
Cookies are short strings of text that the websites visited by the user sends to their terminal (usually to the browser), where they can be saved and sent back to those websites on the occasion of subsequent visits by the same user (so-called first-party cookies). When visiting a website, the users may also receive cookies on their terminal from other web servers (so-called third-party cookies); this happens because there may be elements on the website visited, such as photographs, maps, sounds, specific links to web pages of other domains that reside on different services from the one where the page required is located. In other works, they are the cookies entered by a different website from the one the user is currently visiting.
Cookies may have a duration limited to a single session of navigation (so-called session cookies), and in that case, they are automatically inactivated when the user closes the browser; or they may have a preset expiration and, in that case, will remain on your hard disk until that time, continuing to gather information during different navigations sessions on the browser (so-called permanent cookies).
This Website uses the following types of essential first-party cookies, for the installation of which no consent is required by the users, but for which DWS is required to provide adequate information:
(a) Session cookies: fundamental to enable the users to move normally in the DWS website and correctly receive its services; since they are not saved on the users’ computers, they vanish when the browser is closed;
(b) “Functional” cookies: these serve only to improve and speed up navigation on the Website, by saving certain choices made by the users (such as the language preference).
These are tools used by DWS to ensure efficient navigation, stability of the session, maintenance of the login during the entire session and the country of navigation selected, among other things. They also serve to save the choices made by users relative to the viewing of certain elements, such as informative banners and messaging.
The use of these cookies and the performance of processing connected to them does not require the prior consent of the users. The users can, however, prevent these latter technical cookies from being installed, by means of settings on their browser, with the understanding that doing so could complicate, slow and occasionally prevent navigation on the Website. DWS acts as controller of the processing of personal data exclusively with reference to the first-party cookies installed on the Website.
It is possible, during users’ navigation of the Website, that some cookies not directly controlled and managed by DWS may be saved on their devices. This happens, for example, when the users visit a page that includes content of a third-party website.
In this connection, it should be noted that DWS has no role in processing the data deriving from this type of cookie, as it is a simple technical intermediary.
Cookies used by third parties for profiling and/or marketing serve to display customized advertising on the website and on other websites, and their operation is based on the users’ navigation habits. This type of cookie could be used by third parties to display their products and services on the website.
The website also uses certain types of analytic third-party cookies (so-called “Preferences”) through which they can collect, for example, the following information:
(a) number of visitors, pages viewed and navigation within the website;
(b) effectiveness of sales campaigns on the basis of the source of the web traffic;
(c) details about the products viewed and any downloaded from the website.
These cookies, as well as the purposes for which they are used off the website, fall under the direct and exclusive responsibility of the third parties that install them on the users’ terminals, and serve to show them advertisements in line with their interests (this is the case of third-party cookies for profiling/retargeting).
The website implements a number of social network plug-ins, for example Instagram and Facebook, to enable the users to publicly share the content available on the portal.When the user visits a page of the website, the plug-ins establish a direct connection between the user’s browser and the social networks, acquiring certain data such as the IP address, date and time of the visit, the browser used, etc.
It should be noted that the Data Controller does not process or keep any information sent to the social network via the plug-in. For more information, see the following links:

When they first visit the website, users can (i) accept all the cookies, by clicking on the prompt “Accept All”; (ii) maintain only the default settings, which provide exclusively for the use of the cookies necessary for use of the website (“Accept Selected Cookies”), or (iii) refuse all cookies, by clicking “Refuse All”. The cookie banner will be displayed at the time of the first visit to the website and again after six months.
During that period, at every subsequent visit to the website, you can click on the “Pin”, in the bottom left corner of every page on the website to edit your preferences (“Edit consent”) and revoke your consent (“Revoke consent”).
In any case, since most browsers are programmed to accept cookies automatically, the users can choose not to receive them by accessing the browser settings and disabling use, according to the procedures described at the following addresses:
You can connect to the website www.youronlinechoices.com (limited to the services managed by that platform), to obtain information about how to eliminate or manage cookies depending on the browser used, and how to make the preference settings relative to their use by third parties www.youronlinechoices.com/it/
Your Online Choices is a website operated by the non-profit association European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance (EDAA), the Italian language version of which can be reached at the address www.youronlinechoices.com/it/. It provides information about behavioral advertising based on profiling cookies (http://www.youronlinechoices.com/it/a-proposito) and allows the users of Internet to opt out easily from installation of the main profiling cookies installed by the advertising operators and users of websites (http://www.youronlinechoices.com/it/le-tue-scelte). Before using this tool, we recommend that users read the service conditions carefully on the website Your Online Choices (http://www.youronlinechoices.com/it/condizioni-generali-di-servizio), the frequently asked questions (FAQ) (http://www.youronlinechoices.com/it/faqs) and the user guide (http://www.youronlinechoices.com/it/help).
